I first saw the Madagascar Centella serum at an Olive Young store in Seoul, South Korea where it gets excellent reviews, as well, and it doesn’t disappoint. I have very dry, very sensitive skin and I’ve learned that just because a product claims to be non-allergenic and easy on sensitive skin, doesn’t make it so or at least not for my ultra-sensitive skin.It’s a serum made in Korea that is not oily and not necessarily watery, but silkier in texture. It has no scent at all and it’s very clean and pure with minimal ingredients including Centella Asiatic Extract. I use this as part of my multi-step skincare routine applying it after SK-II essence for another layer of moisture. It absorbs quickly and leaves no residue. It doesn’t irritate my skin and I can even apply it around my eyes without bother. It’s a very good value considering how much comes in the smallest container.The container itself is attractive and well thought out. Firstly, it’s a beautifully designed glass bottle with a white dropper and minimalist labeling. Secondly, it’s one of the few bottles with a dropper that comes with a wiper inside! The wiper skims the outside of the dropper as it’s being extracted so as not to waste product that drips outside the bottle or onto the counter or floor. It’s a small detail that makes a big difference. It’s another excellent beauty product from SK and I’ll be a repeat customer.
